You have to hand it to Mel K for not only bringing down Sirius but managing to find a way to destroy XM in the process. I understand that Echostar made an offer to Mel for Sirius/XM but he declined which shows how delusional this guy is if he really believed that he could pull the company out of the fire in just a few weeks.

I have been reading about Stern and his comments lately since he is concerned that his contract will end up voided if this situation plays out the way that many think it will and his comments have been about how he will leave if they don't pay him even more money. You gotta love a guy that looks out for everyone in the company during hard times like these. This is what you get when you overspend on someone like Stern and Oprah when they should have either paid Stern less or in my opinion, signed him to a 3 year contract with less easily reached incentives. If they really thought he had 20 million fans and that he could bring over a large chunk of that number then why the hell did they put his incentives at less than 10% of that number?

This should be really interesting to watch for the next couple of weeks.
