I've enjoyed Nick doing afternoons, for the small amount that I've listened. I had him on the other night and he was doing an "anti-Valentines Day" show. Wow, this was just terrible. The subject matter, I thought, had potential, but the host, my gosh was it bad last night.

He kept on saying how the lines were jammed but for the 40 minutes I had him on, he only took two calls! Then, every 2 or 3 minutes, he continually give out his email address. He would then say, "i've been getting your emails and we have some great stories!" but he never read them!

One of the things out of his control... the first call he took (of two), and granted, this was supposed to be a funny segment, was a lady who left her abusive husband on V-Day a few years ago. This was your pure WGN demographic mother who wanted to talk about her past problem and how her young son blames her and how hes a horrible kid now... blahh blahhh blahhh. This was NOT the type of call that Nick had in mind. This was supposed to be a FUNNY segment. I'm glad for the women's sake, she left the abusive husband, but this person had no clue that her call was inappropriate for the segment.

The second call, was some guy who Nick D. identified as a regular caller and this was a total loser with nothing interesting to say. After this guy, I had to turn it off and went to a Michael Savage podcast from Friday.
