Pudar New Exec. Prod. of 'WGN Morning News'

TVNEWSDAY, Feb 24 2009, 5:42 PM ET

Tribune's Chicago CW affiliate WGN has promoted Sandy Pudar to executive producer of WGN Morning News effective immediately, according to Greg Caputo, WGN news director.

Pudar succeeds Jennifer Lyons, who was recently promoted to WGN assistant news director.

During her 10-year tenure at the station, Pudar has worked her way through the ranks as a writer and producer, working on both the morning and 9 p.m. newscasts.

Pudar received her B.S. in journalism from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
