AN UPDATE: The Museum of Broadcast Communications' salute to retiring WMAQ-Channel 5 anchor Warner Saunders takes place May 16, but now will be held at the Palmer House. The stellar honorary committee includes NBC's Lester Holt, state Representatives Ken Dunkin, Mary Flowers and John Fritchey, state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, Secretary of State Jesse White, Dutchie Caray, WGN-Channel 9's Bob Jordan, WLS-Channel 7's Harry Porterfield, Sugar Rautbord and a host of others including this reporter.

RADIO's Garry Meier is working the afternoon shift Monday, Tuesday and Thursday on WGN radio from 1-4 p.m. for one week only (so far) starting March 2.

STATE'S ATTORNEY Anita Alvarez is hosting the annual C. F. Stradford awards ceremony today at the Little Black Pearl Art & Design Center. Vincent Cornelius, president of the Illinois Bar Association, and the late Judge R. Eugene Pincham are the honorees.WFLD-Channel 32's Robin Robinson will emcee.
