Given the shaky status of the radio business and because we're mired in a recession right now, all bets are off concerning where Eddie Volkman & Joe Bohannon would resurface once their contract at B96.3 officially expires. I have a feeling that Eddie & JoBo may have to find work outside the Chicago market, which is unfortunate for 2 guys that hosted mornings for some 2 decades. Steve Dahl's career may very well be over with his demise at 104.3 "JACK FM", the fact he's not getting any younger and that there aren't any places for his personality anymore. Also, I'm probably in the minority, but it's not a sure thing Dan McNeil is a lock to talk sports on 670 "The SCORE" when May comes around. I don't have a lot of confidence that the current management team at WSCR SportsRadio is willing to move or cut someone from the current everyday lineup to accommodate "Mac". With all due respect, they handed Laurence Holmes the 10a-Noon time slot without giving other guys like Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch, Matt Abbatacola, Jason Goff or even LoHo's producer Matt Weber a chance to earn the time slot following "Mully & Hanley in the Morning".
