Eleanor Mondale, 48, the former Chicago radio personality, is scheduled to undergo surgery at the Mayo Clinic today to remove a brain tumor.

It's in the same spot where a cancerous tumor was discovered in 2005 and treated with radiation and chemotherapy.

The daughter of former Vice President Walter Mondale co-hosts a midday talk show on WCCO-AM in Minneapolis.
