All the WGN chatter, BUT...

All the talk here about WGN and the changes to come in the next couple of weeks or so and the pros and cons of the different people who have done the 1-4 slot recently. All the talk about the news on WGN and their news department.

But, do you think the geniuses over at 720 are going to drop that LAME traffic and weather on the 7's during the AM and PM drive times?!? That's bad radio. Horrible sound for a legendary station like 720. Take a break for a minute or two and then back to what was going on? LAME!

So, then someone soon will get the 1-4 time slot permanently on WGN. How horrible is it going to be starting in the 3pm hour!?! With the format of 720, it's poor radio listening to always be spliced with those every 7 minutes of traffic and weather. Isn't the top, quarter, and bottom of each hour enough?!? A new host coming to the time slot has got to have issues with this practice?
