Unfortunately, NBC5's got nothing viewers REALLY want to see on Saturday nights at 6p. Although CBS Sports' NCAA Basketball airs the next 3 Saturdays, I noticed that CBS2 was airing paid infomercials in place of "Entertainment Tonight". NBC5 was airing the hourlong weekend edition of "Access Hollywood" in that time slot, along with some local programming from the folks at LX.TV, even though that stuff also airs after "Saturday Night Live" & come 11:05p Sunday nights. Once upon a time, Saturday was THE night for prime time TV, but in recent years, it's become a graveyard for aging series and movies, in addition to "programming" that's actually a $5 billion a year industry.
: Un real- 6PM-7PM Saturday on NBC 5 they ran a paid 1 hour commercial for Time/Life's CD "Flower Power" package.
: This is the kind of thing you might see at 2AM...times must be tough at NBC 5....sad, so sad.
