Here's the statement from Channel 58 on its plans for its March Madness multicasting starting this week:
The Marquette Golden Eagles and the Wisconsin Badgers are headed to the Big Dance! Both match-ups will be shown in high definition live from Boise, Idaho Friday, March 20th on CBS 58. Marquette takes the court against Utah State at 11:30am and Wisconsin goes head-to-head with Florida State at approximately 8:45pm.
In addition to CBS 58’s primary games in high definition, additional games will be broadcast on This TV Network. Time Warner Cable carries This TV Network on channel 201 and Charter Communications on channel 970. This TV Network can also be found over the air on digital channel 58.3.
“We’re excited to bring viewers our NCAA multicast for the seventh year in a row; and proud to give them the freedom to choose the games they want to see,” said Jim Hall, General Manager of CBS 58 and This TV Network.
CBS 58’s March Madness coverage kicks off Wednesday night with our special presentation, “Tip Off To March Madness”, immediately following CBS 58’s Ten at 10. Our CBS 58 Sports team has put together everything you need to know about the Golden Eagles, the Badgers, and their upcoming games in the tournament.
