BONNEVILLE EVP/COO BOB JOHNSON will assume the additional responsibility of serving as the company's SALT LAKE Market Manager, effective JANUARY 1st, 2009, and concurrent with the retirement of BRUCE CHRISTENSEN, current SVP/SALT LAKE Market Manager/President KSL 5 Television. As COO, JOHNSON will retain overall responsibility for BONNEVILLE's operations.
DREW HOROWITZ becomes EVP/BONNEVILLE RADIO, with oversight of all BONNEVILLE operations in the company's other six markets, exclusive of SALT LAKE CITY. This includes two markets -- WASHINGTON, D.C. and CINCINNATI -- that have reported to JOHNSON.
WASHINGTON, D.C. Market Manager JOEL OXLEY will add to his responsibilities the oversight of the company's ST. LOUIS market as Sr. RVP.
"With BRUCE CHRISTENSEN retiring at the end of 2008," said BONNEVILLE Pres./CEO BRUCE REESE, "we are faced not just with replacing a very capable leader who has had a great deal of success. Given the size of the combined BONNEVILLE brands, in what is both BONNEVILLE's and our owner's (The CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS) headquarters city, oversight of the SALT LAKE operations is one of the highest-profile jobs in the company."
