I think I've given this enough time to see how he's doing. While I respect Lewis Lazare's ability as a reporter on advertising I think he's WAY out of his league in taking over Robert Feder's beat.
Of course, while no one in this city could come close to Feder's abilities and number of contacts, I have to think there must be some who could do a better job than printing nothing but speculation about not just the Garry Meier WGN story but a lot of other stories recently.
Keeping in mind that the Sun-Times is "one foot in the grave and the other on the banana peel" I still think they owe it to US MEDIA MARKET NUMBER THREE to have someone who can do a better job of reporting media news... and preferably someone full time...
