CT School Of Broadcasting Reopening To Let Students Finish Courses

The CONNECTICUT SCHOOL OF BROADCASTING will reopen temporarily to allow students to finish their courses, reports the HARTFORD COURANT. The reopening is the result of an agreement between the office of state Attorney General RICHARD BLUMENTHAL and CSB's bankruptcy trustees and management. Classes will resume next week, and students are being advised to call their local campus director at 1-800-TV-RADIO starting TODAY for more information. The school will not be offering classes for the trimester that was supposed to start this month.

"This agreement enables students to complete critical class credits and degrees," said BLUMENTHAL. "My office will continue to monitor the teach-out to ensure that CSB's students receive their well-deserved degrees and any records and materials they need. I will also assure that refunds are received by any student who registered and paid for future courses."
