Whether or not you like Meier as a solo act or not, the fact of the matter is, he brought a buzz to this board when he was on WGN. People were excited about him. Springer's buzz was 20% of Meier's. The guy after him was good, but is unknown. Rita Cosby... ehh, no buzz. Bob and Mariannee.... are you kidding me??

If WGN wants to be known as the station for dinosaurs and ignore the hype of a Garry Meier, then I guess that is their decision. But when the people in the nursing homes die off, WGN ratings will go from where they are now, to an absolute zero.
