The one that they are using right now (Haettenschweiler font) was utilized in the mid 1980's when the station went to a more adult sound. It also was used after the acquisition of AM 1000 for their logo as well. Bonneville resurrected the classic "graffiti" version when it purchased the station in 1997. However, it did go through a bit of a change, incorporating the "the" as block letters rather than as "graffiti." And yes, "97.9" rather than "FM 98."
