Former Cubs outfielder Doug Glanville is joining George Castle's "Diamond Gems" as a regular panelist and commentator when the syndicated baseball talk show kicks off its 15th season next weekend.

Glanville also will write a blog for Castle's DiamondGemsBaseball.com.

Along with co-host Les Grobstein, "Diamond Gems" airs on 45 stations in 15 states. It's on at 1 p.m. Saturdays on WLBK-AM (1360), 3 p.m. Saturdays on WIMS-AM (1420) and 5 p.m. Sundays on WJOL-AM (1340).
