Lamont Watts is out as PD of WVON and "taking it to the internet like Rick Dees" according to R&R. Is this more foreshadowing as to the future of WVON?

"Program director Lamont Watts exits Midway Broadcasting talk WVON/Chicago. Watts took over the role in early 2008 when Coz Carson took a position at Access.1 talk WWRL/New York.

Watts says he is now operating a 24-hour internet radio station featuring a variety of formats and consulting people on monetizing their Web streams. Reach him at lamont@clubsteppin.com."
