MORE COVERAGE NEEDED: Not an Ice look for North

To have the Blackhawks Ice Crew appear with Mike North on Comcast SportsNet's ''Monsters in the Morning'' show is one thing.

To have him wear one of their outfits is quite another.

''I think Mike North is the epitome of a good sport by wearing that,'' Ice Crew member Ashley -- who was part of the group on last Thursday's show -- told Quick Hits.

Will the Ice Crew be recovered for tonight's Stanley Cup playoff opener?

''Tough call,'' Ashley said. ''I think so, though.''

Tough to say whether the viewers have recovered.

Be forewarned that chicagosportswebio.com -- which includes a simulcast of North's and Dan Jiggetts' 6-9 a.m. TV show -- will be at Hooters, 660 N. Wells, on Wednesday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for the program hosted by ''the Mini Monsters'' -- Tim Doyle and Jonathan Hood -- with webio girls and Quick Hits favorite April Rose accompanying.

One can only hope Doyle and/or Hood will not try to squeeze into a Hooters outfit.
