Joyner Returns To The Air In Chicago
As predicted by CHICAGOMEDIA.ORG (via All Access APRIL 10th), CRAWFORD BROADCASTING Urban AC WSRB (SOUL106.3)CHICAGO is the new home for THE TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW. REACH MEDIA has agreed to provide a more customized version of the morning show for the station. JOYNER returns to the air on WSRB WEDNESDAY APRIL 22nd 5-9a weekdays and his weekend show, "RIGHT BACK ATCHA," will be heard SATURDAYS from 9-11am.
While the outcry from the CHICAGO audience when JOYNER was dropped from CLEAR CHANNEL Urban AC WVAZ (V-103) generated e-mails, texts, phone messages and websites, JOYNER insisted he would return to CHICAGO, the first radio market to sign on to THE TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW 13 years ago.
"Thank you CHICAGO and all our friends and family from all over the country," said JOYNER. "You have written. You have tweeted and your activism has made a difference in a big way. We are going back on the air and if I could hug and thank each and every one of you individually, I would. Our new home in CHICAGO is SOUL 106.3 FM."
