Soul 106.3's new morning man, Tom Joyner, along with sidekicks J. Anthony Brown and Sybil Wilkes, will be doing a live broadcast on Monday 4/27 from Kennedy King College in Chicago. Joyner is also looking into starting up an internship program for Communications students at the college to work on the Tom Joyner Morning Show.

On Thursday, April 30th, it's V103 Day at the Borders on Michigan Avenue! Both Steve Harvey and Herb Kent will be there, autographing copies of their new books. Starting at approximately 6:00pm, Harvey will be signing copies of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man and Kent will be signing copies of The Cool Gent: The Nine Lives of Radio Legend Herb Kent.
