For those of you not on Facebook or not "friends" with Jay Marvin, I just came across this on hi Facebook Status. I am copying it here word for word.

"I had a biopsy done today on a 3x3x2 mass around my spine. We won't have any results for 48 to 72 hours. It's either a bad infection or cancer. Thanks for all your kind words of encouragement. It means so much to me. Love, Jay

I sincerely hope that it is just an infection and that he recovers soon. While I rarely agree with Jay on issues, I did enjoy his show wen he was here is Chicago - especially his old late night WLS show.
