Down the hall at smooth jazz WNUA, 21-year station vet Bill Cochran exits his post as creative director/production director/fill-in personality. Cochran had also served as the imaging voice for many smooth jazz stations across the country.
Middayer Troi Tyler, night show host Irene Mojica and overnighter DJ Sundance have been removed from the Web site for urban AC WVAZ (V103)/Chicago, but Clear Channel/Chicago would not confirm or deny if these omissions are a part of the company-wide layoffs. According to the Chicago Tribune, all three of the personalities have indeed been cut back, and former WJLB/Detroit midday personality and current WGCI/Chicago PD Kris Kelley will fill middays on V103 while maintaining her programming position.
