It appears the half-built Museum may have new life. Crain’s Chicago Business reports the construction company that brought a lawsuit to stop the ambitious project has had the claim tossed out of court. Crain’s says an arrangement has been made that allows museum CEO and founder Bruce DuMont time to find private donors, and also to approach the city and state for aid. The deal, with the assistance of Pepper Construction, allows the project to move forward after being stalled for the last three years, and avoids foreclosure.
