He didn't say that he lost the passion for radio completely, but that his passion was no longer there at WGN-AM. If he quit because he wasn't pleased with the changes surrounding him, that's pretty stupid because there are always going to be things happening at work that you don't like - now isn't the time to be bitching when millions can't even find a job.

: Just out of curiosity, where did he say that he "lost the passion"? The only thing I read was the thing he put on his blog and I didn't see anything about that.

: My guess is that he wasn't happy with the new weekend line-up. (I am not happy with it either) I'll still listen to John in the morning and Steve in the afternoons, but that's about it for me and WGN.

: : From what Dan says, his exit was completely his own decision. he felt his "wheels were spinning" over there and he had lost the passion.

: : : I liked hearing Dan Deibert and Stan Lawrence on WGN Saturdays. I can't believe they screwed with Dan like that. I really don't want to hear about right wing politics (Jerry Agar, Shawn Wesson) on the weekends (or anytime). So this is their weekend programming for the 'younger' audience?
