WXRT concert makes it to CD

R.E.M. has been slowly reissuing past albums on remastered CDs, featuring a great deal of bonus material on them. On June 23rd, they will be reissuing their second album Reckoning. What makes this disc special for fans (besides the increased sound quality) will be a second disc. That second disc will contain a concert from here in Chicago that they did for WXRT back on July 7th, 1984. The WXRT concert has never before been released. Reckoning will be released on CD, vinyl & digitally.
