First of all, thanks for listening to the entire 6 hours of the show! Secondly, "Trying to create an illusion?!?" How about you drop the conspiracy tone? Recorded overnight weather at just about EVERY station in this and most markets is the norm. If there is a severe weather alert, we always have immediate access to a live meteorologist. Third, frankly, I don't know why it happened. During a newscast Johnnie and I are usually talking with our producer and doing whatever it is that needs to be done for the next hour. Yes, sometimes that includes a run to the john and a fill-up, again, at the coffee machine.:-) We're doing our job and it's up to the weather people to coordinate what they send in both audio and text form. Bottom line: Why it happened, I don't know. So, I do have to ask ... If you were listening for 6 hours, WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL AFTER THE FIRST TIME YOU HEARD THE DISCREPANCY? We really wouldn't yell at you. We only do that in E-mail responses like this.:-) Oh, one final thing, like the theme says, it's the Steve AND Johnnie show.
