Open at Q101 Block Party

Q101's Block Party is coming up on June 14th with 311 & Ziggy Marley. There is still a slot available for an opening act, so they have made it a competition for local, unsigned Chicago bands to try & win the opening slot for the Q101 Block Party. If you are in a local band (or know of one) that wants to "Rock The Block," they need to submit the band's information & MP3 by May 24th. From May 25th-June 4th, visitors to Q101's website can vote for their favorite band. The winner will be announced June 5th. In addition to being the opening act, the band will win a year's supply of Taco Bell (which sounds great the first month, but pretty nauseating by the 3rd month).
