Oh man, where on earth do I begin?????
Don Wade and Roma called in following the 7 a.m. news update, saying they were in New York for their daughter's graduation (masters degree from NYU). Don initially was calling in to say that he would have to endure the graduation within the confines of the new Yankee Stadium, which I guess, based off the heritage of his family, he hates everything about the Yankees (I'm assumming that maybe this "surprise" or moment would make sense to long, long-time listeners of his??).
This morning, Don found out who the guest speaker would be... Hillary Clinton. That was the icing on the cake, as far as this announcement goes.
It took Don and Roma about ten minutes to explain all this, and they kept cutting off each other too over the phone . Probably an awkward segment for the guest host, Paul Harris, considering he probably has never met Don and Roma before, nor know much about them.
And that was, the big moment that they were promoting yesterday...
