A few weeks back, former Sun-Times media columnist Robert Feder made a surprise appearance on Jake Hartford's Saturday morning radio show, in which he talked about the controversial incident where he was verbally attacked by Warner Saunders. This coming Saturday, the Museum of Broadcast Communications will be honoring Warner Saunders' career. Jake Hartford will be having his own kind of salute this Saturday by replaying the 10 minute or so interview with Mr. Feder. The show, which is not a repeat, except for the Feder interview, will be on the WCPT channels (820-AM, 92.5 FM, 92.7 FM and 99.9 FM) from 7:00am-11:00am. This will be a special show, because in addition to the interview with Robert Feder, it will also feature his famous "Gissy Awards!" The "Gissy Awards," named after one-time Chicago news anchor & reporter Giselle Fernandez, salute the best and worst TV news people in town, as chosen by Jake's listeners. Always a fun listen!
