I have to disagree on a few counts. Dave Strader is among the best play by play men out there. He's the voice of the Phoenix Coyotes and was on ESPN for years. When Mike Emrick couldn't do the Winter Classic for NBC, they went to Strader to do it. The biggest game of the year for the NHL and they went to Strader....should tell you something about his ability.
As for the camera angles, anyone who watches a lot of hockey knows that's normal from Joe Louis Arena. I'm not saying I like it, but it's an old building and it's part of the "charm" of doing a game there. Not to mention the fact that the fans were standing quite a bit, which you should expect to see during the Western Conference Finals.
Either way, this is the matchup everyone wanted. Go Blackhawks!!!
: Horrible... score scroll text is tiny, announcer has no play-by-play, and the camera kept getting blocked by people raising their hands in excitement. Hope their TV coverage improves for the Hawks on Sat. night.
