WMVP's Jim Pastor gets Promotion

Jim Pastor, who has been president and general manager of ESPN sports/talk WMVP-AM (1000) for more than three years, gained additional responsibilities Tuesday as a regional general manager. He also will oversee ESPN Radio's KSPN-AM in Los Angeles and KESN-FM in Dallas.

"This is probably streamlining the business as much as anything else," he said of his promotion. "I know there's already very good management at both of the other stations, so I'm really inheriting a very good situation."

Pastor joined ABC Radio in 1993 and was named director of sales for Radio Disney in 1997. He became vice president of sales and marketing for Radio Disney network in 2000.
