adlets on XRT

I listened to WXRT today and heard a music sweep with a 5-second adlet in it. Haven't heard those on XRT before. Have they been doing it for a while and I've been missing them or is that a new feature as of today? Thought the adlet thing was a Clear Channel only technique, and I had heard it never really was embraced anyway.
