: WMAQ To Air Tribute to Warner Saunders : By Staff : TVNEWSDAY, May 19 2009, 10:07 PM ET : NBC O&O WMAQ Chicago will present a special half-hour tribute to Warner Saunders, the station's longtime 10 p.m. anchor. : Saunders, who retired this month, has been an important part of WMAQ for almost 30 years. Never Give Up: A Tribute to Warner Saunders will look at his time with the station and his broadcast career in Chicago television that spans more than 40 years. : Prior to becoming an outstanding broadcaster, Warner worked in the community as a leader and teacher. : There will be two airings of Never Give Up, on Sunday, May 24, at 7:30 a.m. and on Monday, May 25, at 4:30 p.m.
