One thing with HD transmission, you need to be fairly close to the transmitter site to have it work. Otherwise it keeps popping in and out. I purchased an HD radio for about $100 and plugged it into my stereo system. But the only HD station I listen to is WNUA HD-2--the straight a head jazz channel. I fear that if WNUA flips its main channel format, the HD-2 format will also change. Their straight a head jazz channel is better than the XM-Sirius straight a head jazz channel, which now plays a lot of fusion jazz, since their "Beyond Jazz" channel was dropped.
