WLIT Chows Down On Some Ribs

CLEAR CHANNEL AC WLIT has consummated a new regional partnership with the NAPERVILLE EXCHANGE CLUB's RIBFEST, a four-day festival that's slated to run JULY 3rd-6th in NAPERVILLE, IL. The three-year deal gives WLIT an exclusive regional radio partnership to promote the festival.

"We are very proud to join forces with the NAPERVILLE Exchange Club's RIBFEST," CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO-CHICAGO Pres./Market Mgr. EARL JONES said. "RIBFEST represents the pure essence of a community enhancement program designed to increase resources and awareness of critical issues affecting Chicagoland communities."

"We anticipate taking the event to a new level this year," said 2008 RIBFEST Chair. DON EMERY. "This will allow us the opportunity to give back even more money to the community as we enhance our efforts to eliminate child abuse and domestic violence. WLIT will help us achieve these goals."
