Ousted governor's wife expected on radio show

CHICAGO - Former Illinois first lady Patti Blagojevich is talking about her upcoming stint on a reality TV show in a Costa Rican jungle.

Chicago's WVON radio says Blagojevich will discuss her latest adventure Friday morning on the station's "The Matt & Perri Show."

Blagojevich announced Thursday she would appear on NBC's "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" because her husband, ousted former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, can't.

A federal judge barred Rod Blagojevich from appearing on the show, saying he should stay home and work on his defense in the federal corruption case against him. He has pleaded not guilty.

Both the former governor and his wife are out of work. The TV show is a chance for the family to earn some money.
