I care (see previous posts. hello?....uh hello? anyone out there?). This is the start of the reality of this $^&*#<@! settling in. I am so glad the 'V' man pointed this out.
: Jsmes: When I wrote about a WGN-AM news error on 5/16 I was mostly given a bunch of "who cares?" - so this board might not care!
: : There are times when you see something and it doesn't seem right, but you're not sure. Then there are times, you are sure. Last night was one of those times.
: : WGN TV at 9pm did the story of the teenager killed by the hit run off duty cop. They mentioned more than once the officer was driving a Dodge Charger. The video was that of an SUV. A Dodge Charger is a car. NBC% at 10pm did the same thing. CBS2 at 10pm showed the video but never mentioned the make or model. That was smart.
: : While I know the stations are now sharing video, are they also now sharing info? Is there one "reporter" gathering the facts? What are the odds both stations blew it? No writer, producer, editor etc saw the video and realized that was an SUV? It's not like the Didge Charger is a new model and people wouldn't know that it is a car.
: : (Unless, of course, since the govt is now involved and someone in DC changed the names around.)
