Well, at least in one instance Mancow's tireless and usually successful effort of attracting media exposure, didn't work. This evening on Foxnews' Fox Report, Shep Smith talked about Drew Peterson having a "sense of humor". Smith said Peterson called into a Chicago radio show this morning. Transcripts detailing a portion of the conversation were put on screen. The transcript read Drew: (for Peterson) and host: (for Mancow). They also minimally used Mancow's voice and never mentioned his name. They sourced it as WLS Radio.
