I honestly have enjoyed Roe's show as of late. There definitely has been a new sense to talk about more serious stuff, in exchange for some of the non-sense, such as the Dancing with the Stars Challenge (that was exclusive to his website, RoeConn.com this year).
It probably has more to do with the program director's input -- even though WLS did very well, you have to watch your competition. In that case, I'm sure there was a sense that some people who usually listened to Roe might start tuning into Garry Meier on WGN.
Whatever it is, I have enjoyed Roe lately and hope they stay in this direction - more so, than Garry Meier so far. Who would have thought?
: Heard Roe saying yesterday that if Drew Peterson was innocent he (Roe) would agree to be waterboarded. Bill joked about people who would want to do it and Roe mentioned Garry. It was a very entertaining segment.
