If it were a contract problem, they would probably just say he's off or not mention him, rather than say he is ill.

He does the show out of his house in Mokena. If he is unable to walk a few steps into his home studio and sit and talk for a few hours, he's probably either really sick or, my guess, having something done, since they said at the start of the week he would be gone all week.
