Betsy Hart, parenting columnist for the Sun-Times, has signed to host a half-hour reality TV series, "It Takes a Parent," to be developed with Chicago-based Towers Productions.

The show will follow Hart into the homes of families in conflict, where she will help parents "get their kids back."

While writing her syndicated column and raising four children of her own, Hart also hosts a weekly radio version of "It Takes a Parent" at 2 p.m. Thursdays on Salem Broadcasting Christian talk WYLL-AM (1160).
