This is really sad Radio and Records website was how I got my info about new songs, what other of my favorite stations across the country I heard was playing that have not hit Chicago radio yet, How I followed AT40 back when Casey Casem used the chart and I needed a reference point.
Hate to say it but my undergrad was media studies and I wanted to be in radio. Glad I did not pursue that and chose another carer path that I am now in grad school for....
Cheap Channel watered down everything! Radio was going down this path 10 years ago.
Just listened to a B 96 mix from 1995 along with some archive radio from Hot 102 when I grew up in Milwaukee that had so much originality and energy. Will we ever return to those days?
