Benson Moves To Mountain/Seattle

SEATTLE -- June 5, 2009: Dave Benson is on his way to Seattle to take on the PD job at Entercom's KMTT Triple A (103.7 The Mountain). Benson was most recently PD of Cumulus KFOG in San Francisco; in that job he also oversaw Classic Rock clustermate KSAN. His departure was announced in April.

"Every radio format, like every business, has its leaders -- the two or three who are the best at what they do," said Entercom/Seattle OM Dave Richards. "In Triple A radio, Dave Benson is that person."

Before KFOG, Benson worked at KBCO/Denver, WXRT/Chicago, WLUP/Chicago, and other stations, and spent three years consulting with SBR Creative Media.

Benson said, "I feel very fortunate to be invited to join the good folks on the Mountain and the Entercom/Seattle group. I am excited to join a radio company that is focused in the future."
