Fox Appeals FCC Rejection Of Indecency Filing
FOX filed an appeal MONDAY of the FCC's rejection on procedural grounds of its challenge to the indecency ruling fining 13 affiliates for an episode of "MARRIED BY AMERICA."

FOX' petition was rejected for being over the 25 page limit, with the FCC saying that FOX should have sought a waiver 10 days or more in advance. The present petition calls the Commission's action arbitrary and capricious and an abuse of the agency's discretion, and noted that FOX was joined by six other parties, all of whom could have filed their own petitions totaling up to 175 pages.
