Oklahoma City Opera Host Clyde Martin Dies
Condolences to family and friends of longtime UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL OKLAHOMA noncommercial Classical KCSC/OKLAHOMA CITY-KBCW/MCALESTER, OK opera show host CLYDE MARTIN, who died MONDAY at 78, according to the OKLAHOMAN.

MARTIN, an actor and METROPOLITAN LIBRARY SYSTEM employee, began hosting at KJEM in 1966 and later hosted METRPOLITAN OPERA and CHICAGO LYRIC OPERA broadcasts on KCSC for 35 years. Most recently, he also hosted "CLYDE MARTIN'S OPERA" on WEDNESDAY evenings.
