: Omar Romero has been named program director and afternoon-drive host on Mega 95.5, which was smooth jazz outlet WNUA-FM 95.5 until Clear Channel flipped the format to Spanish contemporary last month. He's set to begin Monday. : Born in El Salvador but raised in Houston, Romero comes to Chicago from Clear Channel’s KLOL-FM in that city, where he was program director and afternoon-drive host. : Previously, he worked at Dallas' KEGL-FM, Albuquerque's KABQ-FM and as format director of Clear Channel’s HD Regional Mexican Format Channel.
