Have anyone ever experience this?

Last Tuesday, a thunderstorm came through the
area, now normally I listen to WCSJ-FM 103.1 from
Morris,IL but not on this night, instead Rockton,
IL WGFB-FM 103.1 came in clear. Can anyone explain
what happen here?
FYI: I own a Denon Tabletop Radio Receiver brought in 1990 using a thin wire for a FM Antenna
for reception.
