The Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., senior pastor of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ and spiritual leader of Sen. Barack Obama, will give his first television interview to PBS' Bill Moyers this week.

"Bill Moyers Journal" airs at 9:30 p.m. Friday on Window to the World Communications' WTTW-Channel 11.

As Sun-Times reporter Lynn Sweet reported in her blog Wednesday, Wright is going on a "press offensive" in response to daily pillorying by Fox News and Obama's presidential rivals.

Wright also is scheduled to be the keynote speaker Sunday at the NAACP in Detroit and to address the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on Monday.
