Actually, 12Noon Friday is when ALL analog TV signals will be history and DTV will become a reality. For those like me with DIRECTV, or for the hundreds of thousands of Chicagoans with cable, the conversion to Digital TV won't necessarily apply. For those with older sets and aren't hooked up, time is definitely running out to get that converter box and have it connected before Friday's deadline. There are a series of seminars and trainings throughout the city for those having trouble connecting their converter boxes and making the necessary adjustments to DTV. I think you can go to the stations' respective Web sites for locations, links and more information on Friday's big switch to digital.
