I've never really "bought" Bob as a news anchor. I have always seen him as a news/entertainment or entertainment guy. I thought he was more suited to the less "newsy" Fox thing in the morning with his current wife, the long ago show he had with then-wife Carrie Cochran, or the channel 11 show which had much greater entertainment/news latitude. He doesn't strike me as the straight-up news anchor Ron Magers type. I think he is better off with a different sort of gig...a bit more entertainment or "Bill Geist" Sunday morning type of thing. Or radio!
