Gene Michaels Passes

Longtime radio personality GENE MICHAELS passed away on FRIDAY, JUNE 5th., after having been diagnosed with leukemia last month. MICHAELS most recently was PD at CUMULUS Rock KKGB/LAKE CHARLES, LA. His career included stops at WCFL/CHICAGO, WOKY, WITV and WMIL/MILWAUKEE, WUSY/CHATTANOOGA, TN and WGST/ATLANTA

A donation account has been set up by friends and family. Memorial donations may be made to the name of "The GENE MICHAELS Family" at any CHASE BANK. Over the next few months, GENE's wife will be adding information, pictures and stories to GENE's website.

Words of comfort to the family may be expressed at www.johnsonfuneralhome.net.
